GMW Haval Jolion Retrofit Electric Tailgate Kit Installation Guide

Note: Our kit is only suitable for Haval Jolion 2021+, the model in the picture below.


2. Remove the tailgate trim panel.	3. Remove the original car gas spring.

4. Remove the original car body bracket.

5. Install our car body bracket.

6. Add a our washer under the original car ball head.	7. Install our right electric struts. Make sure the snap ring is in place to prevent the strut from falling off.

8. Install our left electric struts. Make sure the snap ring is in place to prevent the strut from falling off.

9. Routing the strut wire. (Note: First remove the plastic cover of the reserved hole and the fixing screw of the inner tail. Route the strut wire first and then install the fixing screw.

10. Remove the original car tailgate lock.	11. Install our electric suction lock.

12. Connect to our upper suction lock adapter wire.

13. Use our tailgate handle detection wire to clip to the orange wire of the 2P socket.	14. Routing the power cord, ground wire, CAN wire and front switch wire to the main driver seat follow the red line.

15. Connect the ground wire to the trunk ceiling. (Note: When peeling off the roof, pay attention to pry off the fixing buckle first to prevent the sponge from deforming due to hard picking).

16. Routing the power cord, CAN wire and front switch wire follow the red line.	17. Remove the fuse box cover and triangular plate at the lower left corner. (Note: you need to master the strength when dismantling).

18. Unplug the original car 30A fuse and plug in our electrical appliance.

19. Unplug the original car CAN wire socket at the lower left corner of the main driver seat.

20. Our CAN-H wire is connected to the green-brown wire, CAN-L wire is connected to the blue-black wire.

21. Drill a hole to install front switch button.

22. Remove the original car cover and install our tailgate switch button.

23. Fix our control box here and connect the plugs to the control box according the color.	24. Installation is finished.
