Electrict tailgate installation manual for Toyota CHR 2017+ (GOLD & PINK ECU)

Installation Precautions:
1. Before installing, check the status of the original tailgate (Check the gap of the door if it is stable);
2. Check the appearance of the vehicle for scratches before installation, take photos and inform to car owner.
3. After installation the tailgate, you need to learn to work properly;
4. All pictures in the manual are for reference only. Pictures and objects may differ, but the installation method is the same.
5. In order to facilitate your installation, please carefully read the product manual before installation;
6. When installing, protect your car's surface and avoid scratching;
7. Please check regularly if all accessories connected with the car are loose to ensure safety.

Height Setting:
After the product is installed,raise the tailgate to the desired height and press the tailgate switch button for 3-5 seconds. You will hear a sound "BEEP——" and then loose your hand. Press the tailgate switch button again and close it. You will hear 2 rings. Tailgate learning is finished.

After the installation is complete, pls check:
1. Are all screws replaced with special screws?
2. Is the socket inserted well?
3. Does the electric suction lock work?
4. Whether the harness is damaged or pinched during routing process
5. Whether the remote control and the front switch button can open or close the tailgate.

Fault Phenomenon	Throublesshooting Method
The original key fob does not work	Check if the yellow central control wire is connected
Not working after installation	1. Check if the positive power supply is connected with 12V-16V 2. Check if the power fuse is inserted. 3. Check if the ground wire si connected.
Closing the tailgate not in place	1. Check if the left and right bracket are installed reversed. 2. Check if the control box wire is inserted. 3. Check if the brackets are fixed with our screws. 4. There are two rubbers on the left and right sides fo the original tailgate cover. Check if they are loose and need to tightened.
The original car key fob does not work	Is there any learning after installation? You need to press the tailgate switch button to learn.
The tailgate only can open to harlf	1. Check if the left and right bracket are installed reversed. 2. Check if the control box wire is inserted. 3. Check if the brackets are fixed with our screws.

Anti-pinch Function:
When the obstacle is directly below the tailgate, it will bounce back in the opposite direction or stop when it hits the obstable.
