POWER LIFTGATE FOR JAGUAR E-PACE INSTALLATION GUIDE

When installing the power liftgate kit, you need to pay attention to the following important matters:

1. Ensure compatibility
First, you need to ensure that the selected power liftgate model is fully compatible with your vehicle model, including the size, interface, installation location, etc., which need to be fully matched. Otherwise, it may cause installation difficulties or failure to use normally.
2. Professional installation
The installation of the electric tailgate requires professional maintenance personnel to operate, and it is not recommended for owners to install it by themselves. Professionals can ensure that the installation process meets the standards to avoid damage to the body or affect other functions.
3. Functional debugging and testing
After the installation is completed, it is necessary to repeatedly test various functions, including switches, height adjustment, automatic sensing, etc., until they fully meet the expected use requirements. If necessary, the parameters need to be fine-tuned.
4. Regular maintenance and maintenance
As a mechanical moving part, the power liftgate needs regular maintenance and maintenance, such as cleaning, lubrication, inspection, etc., to ensure long-term reliable and stable use.

Installation Instruction:


1、Effect drawing of original car tailgate.	2、Remove the trim panel and screws on the tailgate.

3、Remove the original car brackets, then install our bracket.

4、Remove the original car gas spring, then install our electric struts.

5、Install our electric struts well (Note: the snap ring of the ball head cap must be in place, otherwise it will fall off the struts)

6、Route the strut wire here.

7、Remove the original car lock, then install our lock hook. The lock driver is placed in the trim panel on the left side of the trunk.

8、The strut wire (orange wire) is routed to the red box, and the power wire, ground wire and electric lock wire are routed to the left side of the trunk. The connection line of the electric suction lock is connected with the electric suction driver.

9、The ground wire is connected next to the fuse box on the left side of the trunk.

10、The fuse location on the left side of the trunk: the seventh position from left to right in the third row. Pay attention to the direction of the electrical outlet.

11、Pull out the original car lock plug, and then plug it into our rear button conversion cable.	12、Fix the control box (ECU) here.

13、Drill a hole to install our tailgate switch button.	14、Long press the trunk button to control the tailgate.

15、Install the front switch button here.

Manual pull: If you don't want to use the electric function, you can also manually pull the tailgate to close it.
Automatic closing: After the tailgate is opened for a certain period of time, it will automatically sense and close slowly.

3. Adjust the height of the tailgate
Many power liftgate kit support free adjustment of the opening height to adapt to different scenarios:

Manual adjustment: When the tailgate is open, long press the open button to adjust to the appropriate height.

4. Memory setting: You can save the commonly used height as a preset value, and adjust it to the desired height with one click next time.

5. Safety protection
